Westchester Woman Violates Protective Order In Front Of Child, Police Say

A woman from Northern Westchester is facing charges after she allegedly violated her protective order in front of a child, police say.

Greenwich Police responded to a residence in the Back County section of Greenwich on the report of a person displaying disorderly conduct on Wednesday, Feb. 20. Police say 44-year-old Carmen Santos of Bedford violated the conditions of a protective order in the presence of a minor child.

Police obtained an arrest warrant, and Santos turned herself in to Greenwich Police Headquarters on Sunday, March 3 around 7 a.m.

Santos faces the following charges:

  • Risk of injury to a child
  • Disorderly conduct (annoying/interfering with another person)
  • Violation of protective order

Santos was unable to post her $50,000 bond and was transported to Stamford Superior Court on Monday, March 4.
